Millwright Journeyman/Apprentice - Afternoon Shift

Join us for the Millwright Journeyman/Apprentice - Afternoon Shift role at Modine Manufacturing Company.

Position Overview

As a Millwright/Apprentice, you will be responsible for installing, aligning, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment.

Shift Details

Afternoon shift, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read equipment manuals and blueprints for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Inspect equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective components.
  • Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Complete Work Orders according to PM schedules.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Work safely following provincial and internal LOTO policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ticketed in the Millwright Trade.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems knowledge (Asset).
  • Electrical experience (Asset).
  • Experience with Prima equipment (Asset).
  • Design experience (Asset).
  • Proven ability with Welding Equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
