Job summary

Ben Hokum and Son Limited in Ontario seeks an on-site Industrial Millwright with 2–3 years of experience. You will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment across sawmill and industrial processes, including conveyors, heat exchangers, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Must hold Millwright certification with CMMS knowledge and be ready to relocate if needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification is required.
• Construction Millwright Trade Certification is required.
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement is preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Installing machinery and equipment.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Replace blades or bands.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Make emergency repairs to equipment.
• Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning.
