Job summary

Coeur Mining in Rainy River, Ontario is seeking a Millwright (Fixed Plant Maintenance) to perform mechanical maintenance and repair on fixed plant equipment in a gold production facility. Schedule: 7x7 — 12 hours per day and night; Position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and contributing to asset and process reliability. The role requires a Red Seal Millwright with 2+ years in industrial maintenance and strong safety

Qualifications

• Red Seal millwright designation or equivalent. Multiple journeyperson trade designations would be looked upon favorably.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience working in an industrial maintenance role in an operating plant.
• Experience on industrial plant construction, commissioning, and start-up would be an asset.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering superior results.
• Demonstrated ability to take proactive corrective action to remedy an asset or process deficiency.
• Leadership experience would be an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and manuals related to the plant and the assets being maintained.
• Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, health and safety and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies during maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and proactive maintenance tasks.
• Perform repairs in response to equipment breakdown and process interruptions.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment deficiencies.
• Provide feedback to Maintenance Planning through work orders.
• Collaborate with supervision and planning to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
