Job summary

Wajax Corporation is hiring a RSE Millwright - Shop & Field Service Technician to perform testing, diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of hydraulic components and rotating assemblies. The role combines on-site field work with shop tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include dismantling components, machining on mill/lathe, and providing detailed service reports. The ideal candidate has gearboxes/pumps experience, a hydraulic/mechanics background, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Millwright, or equivalent experience.
• Rotating equipment experience including repairing gear boxes and process pumps.
• Fluid Power training is an asset.
• Machining knowledge with lathe and milling machine.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and inspect components; complete service reports with accurate measurements.
• Build, repair, service, and troubleshoot rotating equipment assemblies.
• Test rebuilt components or systems to acceptable results.
• Maintain clean shop and safe work environment; perform cleaning duties as required.
• Machining of components on mill and lathe.
• Respond to field service calls; potential for up to 2 weeks on site.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Take on additional responsibilities as requested.
