Job summary

North America Construction (1993) Ltd. – NAC Constructors Ltd. (NAC) seeks an active Millwright apprentice to join our team on construction projects across Canada. You will assist with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing stationary machinery and process equipment in industrial settings.

Applicants must be registered as Millwright apprentices with basic hand tools and 1–3 years in construction. Safety awareness and the ability to follow directions are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Millwright apprentice.
• 1-3 years of experience in construction environments.
• Possess personal basic hand tools.
• Hoisting and rigging experience.
• Experience setting pumps.
• Experience installing large pipe is an asset.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.
• Ability to operate required equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Observe health and safety regulations and supervise apprentices.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
• Read mechanical blueprints and shop drawings.
• Operate level instruments (builders level/laser level).
• Assist with installation of drive mechanisms, pumps, mixers and other process equipment.
• Provide clear direction to workers.
