Job summary

Les Aliments DAINTY Foods Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our on-site maintenance team. You will read blueprints, diagnose faults, repair machinery, and fabricate parts during overhaul and setup.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, an industrial mechanic trade certificate, and strong attention to detail. You will work with automated systems, conveyors, hydraulic equipment, and power tools at our plant in Ontario.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or millwright roles.
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• Fabricate parts during overhaul, maintenance or setup.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Installing machinery and equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
