Job summary

Teck's Trail Operations in Trail, BC is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright to join our team on-site. You will install, maintain and repair diverse mechanical equipment in a shift environment with a focus on safety and preventive maintenance.

The role requires an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Millwright ticket (or equivalent apprentice qualifications) and a valid class 5 license. Compensation is peer-reviewed based on experience, with strong health and wellness benefits and an on-site work

Qualifications

• Inter-Provincial Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright ticket is required.
• Candidates with significant pre-existing apprentice qualifications may be considered.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to work shift work.
• Participation in an assessment process measuring fitness, aptitudes and personal attributes.

Role Overview

Teck is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Millwright to join our team at our Trail Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of mechanical equipment in a shift environment
• Good understanding around preventative maintenance and willing to work independently or in small teams

Qualifications

Pay Range: $51.79 per hour

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
