Job description

Millwright Journeyperson wanted in Regina!

Referral bonus $500 if hired and passes probation

Wage : $44.15 / hr for ticketed plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for hours on night shift

Schedule :

Rotating 3 : 30 PM-12 AM, 6 PM – 6 AM, 11 : 30 PM-8 AM, | Must be available on Saturdays

Staffmax is helping our client hire a Licensed Millwright to join their growing maintenance team in Regina. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Red Seal Journeyperson Licensed Millwright

Key Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret technical documents, equipment manuals, and blueprints to complete installations and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems such as : Power transmission systems Pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems
  • Identify, inspect, and repair mechanical faults in equipment and machinery.
  • Fabricate custom parts using lathes, milling machines, and precision tools.
  • Assemble and install industrial machinery using hand / power tools and welding equipment.
  • Complete Work Orders according to Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) schedules.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO), food safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts (24 / 7) and Saturdays.
  • Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
