Job summary

Canadian Inclusion in Ontario is seeking a skilled Millwright to troubleshoot and repair machinery, install new equipment, and drive improvements across existing lines. The candidate must hold an approved Certification of Qualification in Millwright and have a minimum of 5 years experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment.

You should be able to read drawings, sketches and operating manuals, operate all shop equipment, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Reading drawings, working sketches and operating manuals is required.
  • Ability to operate all shop equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Knowledge of plant equipment and in house hydraulics/pneumatics.

Job description

The Millwright position is responsible for machine troubleshooting and repairs, new equipment installations and existing equipment improvements.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to work with others
  • Ability to operate all shop equipment and perform all basic machining practices in a safe, clean and efficient manner
  • Working knowledge of in house hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Able to understand drawings, working sketches and operating manuals
  • Knowledge of plant equipment

The candidate must possess an approved Certification of Qualification in Millwright with a minimum 5 years of experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment.

Must be available for days or afternoon shift
