Job Overview

GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team in Delta, BC. The Millwright (Maintenance Technician) will support the composting site in Delta by repairing and maintaining equipment, including screeners, grinders, and conveyor systems.

Job Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on conveyors, electronics, and motors
• Use various computer systems to record repairs and diagnose problems
• Perform maintenance tasks as required
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Journeyman Millwright/Red Seal Millwright certification
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; Class 3 with airbrakes endorsement preferred
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Own set of hand tools for basic repairs
