Job summary

Halliwell Consulting Corp. has an immediate opportunity for a qualified Millwright to join our client’s team in Central Ontario.

The role offers wages of $41-43/hr plus shift premium, with a 3-shift rotation (8 hours per shift). Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, setting up and inspecting equipment, and installing and maintaining industrial systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor controls.

Qualifications

• Licensed Millwright with valid certification.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Strong knowledge of HMI, motor controls, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to determine work procedures and parts.
• Conduct planned preventive and predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Set up production equipment, inspect, and shutdown related equipment; manage changeovers.
• Assist in planning and organizing work activities.

Job description

Our client has immediate opportunities for Millwrights to join their team.

Wage: $41-43/hr + Shift Premium

Shift: 3 shift rotation 8 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematic and drawings to determine work procedures and/or order necessary parts.
• Conduct planned preventive & predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Efficient production equipment set up, inspection and shutdown of all related equipment when required, including process changeovers.
• Assist in planning, organizing of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation).
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment and power transmission, pump, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Millwright
• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Strong SAP skill sets.
• Must be able to work independently, work with contractors and other Reliability personnel
• Strong working knowledge of HMI (Human Machine Interface), electric motor controls, programmable logic controllers, basic wiring circuits and skills necessary to safely test common electrical systems and make minor repairs where permitted.
• Perform any other duties as assigned
