Job summary

Halliwell Consulting Corp invites applications for an on-site Millwright role near Newmarket, Ontario. The position offers a pay range of $38-40/hr with steady night shifts and options for day or afternoon coverage.

The candidate should have stamping and/or weld assembly experience to support maintenance and safety tasks. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, safety checks, completing work orders, and maintaining HVAC/plumbing systems and building equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed millwright.
• Electrical background is essential.
• Experience with VFD controls.
• Experience in automotive or equivalent Industry.
• Willing to support overtime, weekends and emergency call-ins.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Daily safety checks and countermeasures.
• Complete safety work orders within 5 days of receipt.
• Responsible for equipment in Facilities as directed.
• Fill out daily reports.
• Inspect areas for problems and equipment.
• Evaluate problems and implement countermeasures.
• Complete Work orders and Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Implement improvements and countermeasures.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, pump, weld/cooling water system, air compressor/air dryer, exhaust fan and general building maintenance.

Our client located near Newmarket, Ontario has an immediate opening for a Millwright, who has Stamping and/or Weld Assembly experience.

Pay Range: $38-40/hr

Shift: Steady shifts Nights and either Day or Afternoon

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Daily check for any Safety issues and countermeasure
• Complete assigned Safety work orders within 5 days of receipt
• Responsible for equipment associated to Facilities and other areas as directed
• Accurately fill out daily reports
• Inspect your areas for problems and equipment items
• Evaluating problems, provide and implement countermeasures
• Completion of Work orders and Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Implement improvements and countermeasures
• HVAC, plumbing, pump, weld/cooling water system, air compressor/air dryer, exhaust fan and general building maintenance

Qualifications
