Job summary

Russel Metals in Cambridge is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team. You will help maintain and improve equipment reliability and safety across operations, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

This three-shift 10-hour rotation offers overtime on weekends and shift premiums. A valid 433A Millwright cert is required, along with strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to work safely in a unionized environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Industrial Millwright 433A C of Q.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
  • Install and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Operate basic machine tools (lathe, drill press).
  • Use welding equipment, hand tools and power tools.
  • Complete required preventative maintenance and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team in Cambridge. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving our operations by ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly compensation is based on the current collective agreement. We offer a competitive benefits package, uniforms, safety boots and PPE.

Shift Details

This position will be on a three‑shift rotation of 10‑hour shifts. Any weekend work is overtime.

Shift premiums apply.
