Job summary

ADM in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Mill Utility for a full-time, hourly role in a large flour milling plant. The position starts with sanitation duties and strict adherence to GMPs, HACCP, Food Safety and safety rules, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include unloading raw materials, loading finished product, light maintenance and cleaning, plus other duties as required, while maintaining safety and compliance with EHS requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work from heights and move in various positions.
  • Shift work, overtime and weekends may be required.
  • There is room for advancement in the future.

About The Position

Full time entry level position in a large flour milling plant.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • This position initially involves general sanitation duties following developed GMPs for our food safety programs
  • Following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Safety Rules is essential
  • Duties include but not limited to unloading raw material, loading finished product, light maintenance, and cleaning
  • All other duties required
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
  • Shift work, overtime and weekends may be required
  • There is room for advancement in the future
Education Or Work Experience
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred
Additional Information
  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
  • All candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
