Job summary

Canadian Armed Forces are seeking Traffic Technicians to plan, execute and manage the movement of equipment and personnel across local, regional, national and international locations. You will work in teams within existing or fabricated supply chains to support exercises and operations.

The role involves handling transportation documents, cargo loading, dangerous cargo processing, customs liaison, vehicle operation and processing invoices.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 10 or Secondary 4 in Quebec.
• Ability to work in dynamic military logistics environments.
• Willingness to work shifts and be posted across Canada/worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, record and account for transportation documents for cargo/equipment and personnel movements.
• Plan, administer, execute and manage loading/offloading of cargo and personnel from road, rail, air and maritime transport.
• Process dangerous cargo as required.
• Prepare customs documentation and liaise with authorities.
• Operate military vehicles and materiel handling equipment.
• Process transportation contracts, invoices and maintain financial records.
