Job summary

The Canadian Armed Forces are seeking Materiel Management Technicians to ensure the availability of supplies and services for CAF operations. You will manage purchasing, warehousing, shipping, and stock control, and assist with repair and disposal as needed.

Responsibilities include receiving and preparing items for shipment, processing invoices, operating vehicles up to 10 tons, and delivering supplies to units in Canada or aboard deployments.

Qualifications

• No prior work experience or career-related skills required.
• Basic education to qualify for entry as outlined by CAF.
• Foreign education may be accepted for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control and disposal of stock and equipment.
• Receive, handle and prepare items for shipment and perform recordkeeping and inventory control.
• Operate military vehicles up to 10 tons and material-handling equipment in support of operations.
• Process invoices and prepare shipping documents; order materials from internal and external sources.
• Deliver supplies to operational units and coordinate repair and disposal functions.
