Job summary

Active Dynamics is hiring for an Afternoon Shift Welder in Ontario to ensure welds meet process and quality standards. You will run equipment, perform quality checks, read blueprints, and maintain your setup with finish welding on surfaces. Fluency in English and a minimum grade 12 education are required.

Hourly rate is $28.71 with a 90-day probation; shifts may vary and a shift premium applies where relevant.

Qualifications

• Must pass both written and practical weld test.
• Fluent in English.
• Min. grade 12 or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and runs setup as assigned.
• Performs required quality checks to ensure product complies with specifications.
• Notifies Group Leader/Supervisor of defects or issues.
• Documents and records data per work cards and company requirements.
• Performs equipment operational checks.
• Performs finish/cosmetic welds on product surface.
• Maintains proper housekeeping and 5S requirements.
• Adheres to safety standards and company policies.
