Job summary

The University of British Columbia invites applications for the MIDW 106 Teaching Assistant (GTA 1) position in the Midwifery Program Administration, Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine.

The TA will organize and update Canvas, assist with lectures and labs (virtual and in-person), grade quizzes, answer student questions, and hold regular drop-in sessions for students, starting September 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Background in anatomy and physiology.
• Previous TA experience in MEDD 411 preferred.

• Assist with in-class activities during lectures.
• Teach in virtual and in-person labs.
• Grade quizzes and lab challenges.
