Job summary

Export Development Canada (EDC) is hiring an Associate Relationship Manager for the Mid-Market Business Strategy & Execution team. You will research and engage with mid-market companies across sectors, develop lead strategies with marketing and regional teams, and drive outbound prospecting to generate qualified opportunities.

You will support national strategy, track prospects in CRM, and maintain concise communications while working both in a team and independently to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of recent business development experience.
• Knowledge of best practices in sales and/or client account management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Researching, qualifying, engaging, and following up on leads from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing and Mid-Market teams to develop lead management strategies.
• Generate leads through research on company operations, objectives, market entry, and trade opportunities.
• Support the national strategy of the Mid-Market Team.
• Log prospect information into the CRM to support communications and reports.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders; work both independently and in a team.
