GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Sudbury MHSW Depot Operator to manage depot operations, receiving and sorting waste, and coordinating with residents. The role runs 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, with Saturdays when required, and requires clear communication and safety compliance.

The position requires a valid G Class driver’s license, basic data entry in Excel, and wearing PPE at all times. Bilingual ability is preferred, and the depot must operate efficiently and with clean grounds at all

Qualifications

• Report to and receive authorization from the HHW Depot Manager
• Receive, sort, pack, and bulk waste received from residents and the Toxic Taxi
• Have good communication skills while dealing with the public
• Bilingual is preferred
• Maintain a valid “G” Class driver’s license
• Ensure that the depot runs in an efficient and effective manner at all times
• Maintain clean grounds and facility
• Wear all of the required PPE at all times
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Light administrative duties - receiving and responding to phone calls and emails, data entry to Excel
• Ensure the information recorded on the logs is accurate prior to Depot Manager’s review
