Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent, NC Programming at the Marcel-Laurin Plant in Canada to program aerospace components using CATIA V5 and verify results with VERICUT. You will create operator manuals, work packages and contribute to on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of NC programming experience, reads technical drawings, and communicates fluently in French and English. This is a day-shift, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical/aeronautical tech.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to read English and French technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Program aerospace components using CATIA V5 (5-axis).
• Generate and submit NC programs; validate G-code with VERICUT.
• Develop visual work instructions for manufacturing.
• Support on-time delivery by solving programming issues.
• Estimate programming times and machining cycles.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Program aerospace components using CATIA V5 (5-axis machining).
• Generate and submitAPT source programs.Validate G-code output using Vericut Machine Simulation software.
• Develop electronic visual work instructions for component manufacturing (operator manuals/work packages).
• Participate in problem-solving activities to ensure delivery schedules and production deadlines are met.
• Develop and implement innovative programming methods to reduce programming time by creating and deploying macros and automated routines.
• Prepare machining strategy estimates, including programming time and machining cycle time for components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining-related issues affecting component quality and manufacturing performance.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering Technology, or possess other relevant experience.
• You have a minimum offive (5) to ten (10) years of experience in NC programming using CATIA V5 and VERICUT Machine Simulation.
• You have knowledgeofaerospace manufacturing processes (an asset).You are able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• You possess knowledge ofGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• You are organized and able to work effectively in afast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• You are creative and enjoy developinginnovative methods and new ways of working.
• You are proficient inMicrosoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have stronganalytical skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
