Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Methods Agent, Natural Team (Preflight) in Dorval to support aircraft maintenance and preflight operations at the Dorval Plant 3 facility.

You will review mechanical systems, write test procedures, and collaborate with Methods, Quality and Production to implement changes and optimize daily operations. Fluency in French and English and a college degree in aircraft maintenance with 5+ years of aviation experience are preferred; SAP knowledge is an asset.

• Requires college degree in aircraft maintenance and 5+ years of aviation experience.
• Bilingual French & English required; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, Macpac and Quicksilver is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in solving problems related to mechanical systems (troubleshooting).
• Write functional test procedures for various mechanical systems and identify the tools required to execute.
• Review and incorporate engineering requirements.
• Plan and implement changes in production.
• Support and optimize daily production operations.
• Investigate technical issues and find solutions for aircraft from preflight to delivery.
• Answer technical questions of Methods, Quality and Production departments.

What are your contributions to the team?

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college degree in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in aviation.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is essential.
• You must have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative and a good technical judgment.
• You must be able to work under minimum supervision.
• Bilingualism (French & English) and strong organizational and communication skills are also essential.
• You have a strong customer focus.
• Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, Quicksilver is an asset.
• Knowledge of Challenger products is an important asset.
