Job summary

Alectra Inc. in Brampton (Kennedy) is seeking a Metering Data Operator in the Network Metering department. This hybrid role offers 35 hours per week with a pay range of $36.53 to $53.48 per hour.

You will operate the data application to provide data to downstream systems for validation, estimation and editing and review exceptions. Responsibilities include ensuring meter data is received on schedule, resolving data discrepancies, setting up metering installations, coordinating with teams,

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MV90 or AMI.
• Knowledge of IESO and OEB rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of power billing rates and metering technologies.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meter data is received per schedules and validated for downstream systems.
• Identify, receive and troubleshoot meter data discrepancies.
• Set up or upgrade metering installations and coordinate with other teams.
• Assist with resolving data communication issues related to meter interrogation.
• Manage failed calls, exception reporting and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with field teams to resolve metering or communication problems.
• Coordinate manual reads on recorders as needed.
• Update batch files for data transfers.
• Create analysis reports identifying failures and gaps and recommend solutions.
• Perform testing/validation of AMI/MV90 systems and firmware upgrades.
