Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan seeks a Metallurgy Technician to support metallurgical process optimization through sampling, analysis, testing, and data integrity programs.

You will work with automated systems and assist in refinery duties as needed, in a fast-paced plant environment. The role requires 1–3 years in mineral processing or metallurgical lab work, a related diploma or degree, and willingness to fly in/out to a remote camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with process control systems and gold recovery operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in metallurgical activities within the mill: sampling, analysis, testing, and metallurgical accounting.
• Support automation: commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of process analyzer systems.
• Execute plant simulations and optimize bottle roll tests for process tuning.
• Assist in reagent optimization, inventory, and consumption reporting.
• Maintain logs of readings, calibration data, and manual checks.
• Prepare technical reports for supervisors and assist in data validation.
