Job summary

The Home Depot, Inc. in Ottawa, Canada is seeking a Merchandising Supervisor to oversee Merchandising Associates, drive merchandising strategies, and ensure accurate signage and planograms. You will lead a team, manage performance, and collaborate with store leaders on seasonal resets and projects.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year supervisory experience, strong communication, and are comfortable with lifting and warehouse tasks. Prior forklift exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working in retail merchandising service industry or working directly for large scale retailer.
• 1+ year supervisory / leadership experience
• Attention to detail: stays attentive and aware, catches errors and maintains high quality standards
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to promote teamwork
• Enjoy fast paced environment
• Computer skills with knowledge of web-based applications
• Some heavy lifting required; bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods; comfortable with ladders & lift equipment
• Forklift experience is an asset

• Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports

Position Purpose: Merchandising Supervisors directly supervise the activities of Merchandising Associates as they merchandise and maintain various product sets to enhance the customer experience and maximize inventory turns. Merchandising Supervisors direct the priorities of the associate based on directives of the Merchandising Execution Manager.

The pay range for this position is between $23.75 - $26.00
