Job summary

RONA in Sherbrooke is seeking a Store Associate to help maintain product displays, stock shelves and assist customers with inquiries. You will ensure planograms are followed and merchandise is presented to enhance the shopping experience.

You will greet customers, support inventory organization, and keep aisles clean and accessible. The role runs 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, with training and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of basic tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to move heavy objects using appropriate equipment.
  • Forklift driving experience is an asset.
  • Ability to utilize web-based computer programs.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
  • Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals and stock levels.
  • Ensure merchandise on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards.
  • Ensure inventory above the bay is shelved, price tags are properly positioned, and products are brought forward when needed.
  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a team member for specific advice.
  • Maintain cleanliness and convenience, so products are accessible and customers can move easily through aisles.
  • Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

  • Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles
  • Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
What we're looking for:
  • Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to move heavy objects using the appropriate equipment
  • Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
  • Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
  • Available to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
