Job summary

Canadian Tire is seeking a part-time Merchandising Associate to join our friendly, community-focused team. You will help execute planograms, stock shelves, and set up seasonal displays to maximize visual impact in-store.

No previous experience is required—we provide full training. You will greet customers, suggest related products, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training provided.
• Detail-oriented tasks following instructions.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand/walk 8 hours, lift and carry items, use a ladder.
• Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience executing planograms is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandise per planograms or free-hand displays (aisles, ends, bases, bins, displays).
• Update and replace signage and secure heavy display items.
• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandise based on corporate planograms or free-hand (e.g., aisles, ends, bases, bins, displays and wing panels, etc.).
• Update and replace signage and secure heavy display items.
• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills
