Job summary

Brand Momentum is seeking an independent contractor for a part-time Merchandiser role in Temiskaming Shores, ON. Expect approximately 11 hours per week on weekdays, with a starting rate of $20 per hour.

This role involves working at retail locations as part of a national merchandising team. The position emphasizes flexibility, independence, and driving product displays in stores for a nationally recognized CPG brand.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays look appealing to customers.
• Move products from storage and fill displays per Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing; place product orders.
• Execute account-specific initiatives like bookings, end caps and marketing programs.
• Observe opportunities to add value during store visits; collaborate with store staff.
• Provide merchandising support: shelves, planograms, stock accuracy, freshness.
• Prepare and submit required daily reports.

About the Position

Job Status: Open Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 11 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $20/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support - maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs (Note: check closing tag)
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
