Job summary

Match Retail in Slave Lake, AB is seeking an in-person Merchandiser to maintain product displays, stock shelves, and install promotional signage across local stores. This independent contractor position offers flexible hours and direct involvement with Nespresso brand activations.

You’ll visit stores, report findings, and act as a brand ambassador while coordinating with clients to ensure perfect product presentation and inventory flow.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to convey brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKUs listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

About the Role

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.
