Job Opportunity: Seasonal Merchandiser at Scotts Miracle-Gro

Join our dynamic team at Scotts Miracle-Gro! We are seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to support our Field Sales team during the busy season.

Position Details

• Location: Big box retailers such as Home Depot, Rona+, Rona, and Reno Depot
• Start Date: June
• End Date: August
• Hours: 16-24 hours/week, with weekday shifts from 7am - 3:30pm (flexible) and weekend shifts (Saturday 10am-2pm) from mid-April to end of May

Responsibilities

• Merchandise Scotts products, including restocking shelves and displays
• Maintain and repair displays, face products, and remove damaged items
• Drive in-store sales alongside the Scotts Sales Manager
• Assemble fixtures and displays
• Install and maintain point of purchase materials
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to consumers and retail staff

Qualifications

• Strong initiative, self-direction, and reliability
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders up to 4m, lift heavy items, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
• Residence within 25 km of Saskatoon, SK
• Valid Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record check
• Reliable transportation or access to a vehicle
• Access to a computer, printer, and smartphone
• Steel Toe boots/shoes (green patch) required
