Job summary

Match Retail is seeking a Merchandising professional in Hinton, AB to visit stores, ensure shelf presence, and stock products per brand guidelines. The role offers flexible hours and independent contractor status.

You will work with Nespresso on exclusive programs, report on each visit, and act as a Brand Ambassador in assigned retail stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to convey brand messages.
• Able to manage time and submit reports remotely.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelf presence for all SKUs at POS.
• Install and remove promotional signage per national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage store stock to minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update capsule sampler packs and coffee supplies for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area and tasting station.
• Provide reporting and recommendations after each store visit.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in assigned stores.

About the Role

Match Retail is a leading provider of essential merchandising services across Canada, supporting major retailers and top brands by bringing new product launches to life. Our Merchandising Team visits stores to update product sections, ensuring the latest innovations are perfectly presented.

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by point of sale (POS)
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan
• Ensures negotiated footprint is respected
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.
