Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Victoria, BC seeks a backroom associate to manage inventory, organize the backroom, and assist frontline leadership.

You will use PDT and MMS systems for daily tasks, ensure accurate receiving and returns, and maintain product displays that are engaging and compliant with policies. Responsibilities

  • Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
  • Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily tasks.
  • Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed.
  • Expertise in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement and expiry dates.
  • Maintain store standards related to image and trends.
  • Ensure product displays are consumer focused and shoppable.
  • Receive merchandise in accordance with receiving policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and organized backroom according to principles of backroom organization.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed with respect to the receiving and return of goods.
  • Support Front Store Manager / Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining quality and standards.
  • Clean image to customers in accordance with uniform policy and dress code.
  • Takes initiative to acknowledge and assist customers in the aisles.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with all store standards.
  • Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Compensation
