Job summary

Jacent Strategic Merchandising is seeking a part-time merchandiser to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. You will cultivate relationships with in-store management, execute merchandising resets, build eye-catching displays, and handle impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks while implementing plan-o-grams.

The role offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, paid training, a company device, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and quick learner who works well independently and in a team.
• Comfortable in changing environments.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the role (standing/walking 3-8 hrs, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.).
• Resides within 20 miles of Port Alberni, BC.

Who We're Looking For

• A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting
• Someone who is comfortable in changing environments
• Someone who is able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation, which include:
• Standing and walking 3-8hrs
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements
• Possesses excellent organizational skills
• A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with business partners.
