Job summary

La Vie en Rose is hiring for a permanent, full-time role at our Laval location. You will handle merchandise, stock shelves, and assist customers in a fast-paced retail store environment.

We value physical stamina, organization, and autonomy. Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods is preferred; experience handling goods is an asset.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and keep the backstore organized.
• Ensure receipts and shipments are organized and identify errors.
• Label merchandise with correct prices and adjust as needed.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or distribution centre.
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Respect and apply head office policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

What a Typical Workday Looks Like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

In Your Role, You Will Need To

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors;


• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;


• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;


• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;


• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;


• Provide excellent customer service;


• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);


• Perform other duties where needed to support the team
