Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Moosomin is seeking a Mental Health Therapist for a full-time temporary role at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre. You will provide counselling services under the supervision of senior therapists, contributing to child, youth, adult and family support plans.

Reporting to the Primary Health Care Manager and Clinical Manager of Mental Health and Addictions, you will help restore mental health and teach clients skills to manage their illness, with the HSAS

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Services field acceptable to the employer.
• Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of mental health services to a broad population of clients and families.
• Plan, develop, organize and deliver counselling services to restore mental health and help clients learn skills to manage illness.

Job Description: Reporting to the Primary Health Care Manager, under the leadership of the Clinical Manager of Mental Health and Addictions and the supervision of a Senior Mental Health Therapist, the Mental Health Therapist is responsible to provide a wide range of mental health services to a broad population of clients. They are responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of counselling services of children, youth, adults and their families with the goal of restoring mental health and/or supporting clients to learn skills to manage their illness. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
