Job Summary:

Job Summary

Performs diagnostic assessment and therapeutic treatments, including crisis intervention with some guidance. Maintains contact with family and community agencies and makes referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides initial assessment and develops plan of care according to TN Department of Mental Health Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Provides targeted evidence based interventions into clinical practice with patients.
  • Acts as clinical liaison with patient, family, treatment team and community.
  • Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

Technical Capabilities

  • Patient Assessment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient assessments in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
