Job summary
The YMCA of Three Rivers in Guelph is seeking a Membership Experience Representative to deliver exceptional member service, share information on memberships and programs, and support daily operations and registrations. This full-time, permanent role requires a high school diploma and customer service experience, plus First Aid/CPR-C.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of customer service experience is preferred.
- Standard First Aid/CPR-C and AED certification is required or in progress.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities
- Enhance member satisfaction and foster belonging by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Provide information on memberships and programs, conduct facility tours, and assist with registrations and sales.
- Monitor facility activity and act as point person during emergencies.
- Manage daily operations tasks such as POS cash balancing and logging member feedback.
- Build relationships with staff, volunteers, and members to create an inclusive environment.
- Respond to diverse needs with sensitivity and professionalism.

- Enhance member satisfaction and foster a sense of belonging by delivering exceptional customer service to all members, staff, and volunteers.
- Provide information on memberships and programs, offer facility tours, and assist with registration and sales of memberships and day passes.
- Monitor activity in the facility and serve as the point person during emergency situations, responding with confidence and care.
- Support smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks such as POS cash balancing, logging member feedback, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Act as a connector within the community, building relationships and establishing rapport with staff, volunteers, and members.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment by responding to diverse needs with sensitivity and professionalism.
- You are a confident and approachable individual with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- You have a high school diploma and ideally one year of customer service experience.\
- You are certified in Standard First Aid/CPR-C and AED.
- You are comfortable using computers and familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
- You are committed to working in a socially inclusive environment and respond with awareness and sensitivity to diverse needs.
This role may require regular travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their own transportation to these sites. A valid G driver’s license and full time vehicle access are strongly recommended.
