Job summary

Northern Credit Union is seeking a temporary full-time Member Representative (18-month contract) in Kenora, Ontario. The role focuses on addressing member inquiries, assessing needs, and guiding members through banking products and services while ensuring accurate transaction processing.

The successful candidate will bring customer service experience, at least one year of sales experience, and solid knowledge of basic Credit Union offerings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and equivalent banking and customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of proven sales experience.
• Commitment to continuous learning and owning their own growth.
• Knowledge of basic Credit Union products, services and systems.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of modern office equipment.
• Ability to process transactions, handle cash and balance in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and co-workers in a courteous, friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Ability to efficiently organize work and time to meet daily deadlines.

As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a temporary full-time Member Representative (18-month contract) in our Kenora market.

The Member Representative plays a crucial role in enhancing our members' experience by collaborating with their branch team and internal partners. Their primary focus is to address member inquiries, analyze individual needs, and guide members in utilizing a diverse range of products and services tailored to meet their specific requirements. This includes providing assistance in navigating through the available offerings and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions through the banking system.

They must excel at working towards a standard of excellence and striving towards reaching and exceeding goals as a self-starter and also in support of their team.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:
