Bulkley Valley Credit Union is seeking a skilled financial advisor to join its community branch team in Smithers. You will assist and advise members with their financial needs, and help deliver investment and small lending solutions that support members’ financial well‑being.

The role emphasizes building trust through personalized service, growing member relationships, and contributing to branch profitability while aligning with cooperative values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years financial service industry experience.
• Experience with investments and retail lending preferred.
• Combination of experience and post‑secondary education in financial services will be considered.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years financial service industry experience, preferably with investment and retail lending experience, or a combination of experience and education. An individual with a combination of experience and post‑secondary education in the areas that are directly related to financial services will also be considered.
