Job summary

First Credit Union is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative at the Powell River Branch. You will interact with members, process transactions, open accounts and term deposits, and promote a broad range of financial products.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll focus on understanding member needs and delivering tailored financial guidance. Ideal candidates bring a secondary school diploma and service experience; familiarity with financial products and personal financial planning

Qualifications

• Proven ability to use MS Office and basic computer applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize workload and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service focus.
• Capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment and delivering accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Provide member-centric service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Process daily transactions and handle routine account inquiries.
• Open deposits, registered products, accounts, and lending products.
• Promote and cross-sell First Credit Union products and services.
• Refer members to other departments as appropriate.
