Job summary

Movati Athletic in Edmonton is seeking a friendly Member Experience Associate to deliver outstanding service from the moment members enter the club.

You will handle member concerns, assist cafe and pro-shop, maintain cleanliness, promote programs, process sales, and help with events. We offer competitive wages, benefits after 3 months, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience in related industry (retail, hospitality, or fitness).
• Current CPR & First Aid certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is asset.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve member concerns and escalate serious issues to management.
• Provide exceptional service to cafe and pro-shop customers.
• Maintain clean and safe club areas and equipment.
• Stay up-to-date on programs, products, and services and promote them to members.
• Handle all sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Complete administrative tasks with 5-star service.
• Assist with member experience events as needed.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and elevate serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
