University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure-stream position in Medieval Philosophy, a joint appointment between the Department of Philosophy (75%) and the Centre for Medieval Studies (25%). Assistant Professor start, with anticipated July 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will pursue innovative research, teach across undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to departmental teaching and service.

Qualifications

• Evidence of research excellence through publications and conferences.
• Teaching dossier and strong letters of reference.
• Ability to teach a wide range of courses in philosophy and medieval studies.

Responsibilities
