The Medication Technician supervises and assists in medication administration following nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications include:

• Preferably 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus
• Ability to operate MS Office programs
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Pass a criminal background check and health screenings, including physical and TB tests
