Our client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support Medical Affairs activities in Neuroscience across Ontario. This is a field-based role for an experienced MSL who thrives on scientific engagement, supports clinical research, and brings forward insights that help shape strategy across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead scientific discussions with healthcare professionals, delivering accurate and up-to-date information on therapeutic areas and products, while addressing inquiries in a timely and credible manner.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Marketing, Sales, and Alliance partners to support strategic initiatives, including input into clinical trial design and execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic researchers, and clinical investigators in the neuroscience space.
- Share insights from the field that help inform medical strategy and implementation plans.
- Deliver presentations and provide therapeutic area and product-specific training to internal and external audiences.
- Represent the medical team at congresses, symposia, and advisory boards, contributing to both education and evidence generation.
- Operate independently in the field, managing territory priorities and maintaining full compliance with all internal and external regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous MSL experience.
- Strong ability to quickly learn, retain, and communicate complex scientific information.
- Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (PharmD, PhD, or MD).
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills—comfortable engaging both small and large groups.
- High self-motivation, professionalism, and a hands-on, goal-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards, medical compliance, and ethical practices.
- Travel within Ontario.
