We have a new opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will develop and nurture relationships, as well as enhance our scientific credibility with established and emerging external experts (EEs). Our MSLs respond to requests by providing key scientific/medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain key scientific knowledge to credibly disseminate information to external experts (EEs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs), fostering professional relationships.
2. Participate in and follow-up on investigator-initiated studies (IIS), clinical studies, and medical projects within the relevant therapeutic area.
3. Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centers.
4. Deliver credible scientific presentations to HCPs, individually or in groups.
5. Assist in the selection process to identify qualified HCPs for collaborative efforts such as research, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums, ensuring scientific and educational integrity.
6. Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences, and develop summaries of key data presented.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required

• Doctorate, MD, or MSc degree in a scientific discipline with relevant experience.
• Relevant industry experience, preferably as an MSL.
• Background in Dermatology is an asset.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting scientific or clinical research publications.
• Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulatory controls.
• Interest in developing expertise in the assigned therapeutic area and medical research.

Essential Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable with technology and various tools/systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

• Coordinating scientific/medical engagement efforts across stakeholders within accounts.
