Each day brings new opportunities to contribute to accurate diagnoses and create a positive patient experience. Your skills will play a crucial role in shaping better health outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct X-ray, fluoroscopy, and mammography procedures to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Assist in Procedures: Support physicians during interventional radiology and pain management procedures with fluoroscopic guidance.
  • Patient Care & Comfort: Guide patients through procedures, provide clear explanations, and ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
  • Optimize Imaging Quality: Set up and operate equipment to capture clear images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain Records & Compliance: Keep patient documentation up to date while ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Equipment Monitoring & Safety: Perform routine equipment checks, complete quality assurance logs, and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed on the latest imaging techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Enhance Workflow: Contribute to process improvements that optimize efficiency and patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: A post-secondary education from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program in Canada.
  • Professional Membership: Active registration (or eligibility) with CAMRT & ACMDTT or CSCLXT & ACCLXT.
  • Patient-Centered Approach: A commitment to compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Clinical Expertise: Proficiency in a wide range of x-ray procedures, with strong attention to detail.
  • Diagnostic Imaging Excellence: Proven ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a strong focus on patient care.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experienced in RIS and other relevant imaging technologies.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and expertise.
  • Health & Safety: Strong adherence to health and safety protocols while performing procedures and operating medical imaging equipment.
  • Collaboration & Adaptable: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and alongside colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Specialized Experience: Experience in interventional fluoroscopy, mammography, or bone mineral density is an asset.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Earn between $36 to $49 per hour, based on your experience.
  • Sign-On Bonus: A warm welcome with a competitive sign-on bonus.
  • Relocation Allowance: Financial support for eligible candidates.
  • Extra Earning Potential: Maximize your income with evening and weekend shifts, industry-leading shift premiums, and compensation for expanding your skillset.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Work arrangements designed to fit your lifestyle.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, plus access to our Employee & Family Assistance Program for added support.
  • Learning & Development: Career growth opportunities with specialized training, including Mammography.
  • Comprehensive Onboarding: Hands-on structured training to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
  • Fun Team Culture: A supportive, collaborative team with regular team-building events and celebrations.
  • Generous Time Off: Vacation pay, and paid time off for your birthday.
  • Retirement Savings: A matching RRSP/TFSA plan to help secure your financial future.
  • Onsite Parking: Convenient, onsite parking to make your commute easier.
  • Coverage for Annual Memberships & Insurance: Financial support for CAMRT and ACMDTT, or CSCLXT & ACCLXT membership fees and insurance.
