The University of Alberta Hospital, operated by Alberta Health Services, is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist I. In this role you will perform radiological imaging studies, interpret requisitions, prepare patients and produce high-quality images for review by physicians and radiologists.
The position is Regular Part Time (0.70 FTE) with shifts including Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and On Call. Start date 21 September 2026; shifts are 7.75 hours; posting ends 9 September 2026;
The University of Alberta Hospital is a busy, acute trauma center that will give you the ability to showcase and expand your individual skills, team dynamics and actively participate in teaching new students. Currently this position has a start time of 1600h.
As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, you will perform a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare and assess patients for examination and produce high quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review, and assist with the care and maintenance of equipment. Your work may include a variety of procedures such as general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, as well as fluoroscopy where required.
