Your Opportunity:

This position is based out of Foothills Medical Centre in a dynamic Diagnostic Imaging Department. It involves providing high-quality radiological imaging services in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. The role requires working all shifts and on-call, with potential rotation through Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Description:

As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, you will perform standard radiological examinations to assist in disease and pathology diagnosis. Responsibilities include interpreting physician requisitions, preparing patients, producing diagnostic images, and maintaining equipment. Procedures may include general radiography, portable imaging, mobile and surgical suite examinations, and fluoroscopy.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRT diploma program.
• Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

• Good standing with ACMDTT.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
