Job description

Design Verification Technologist

As a member of the R&D team, you will be challenged with the application and verification of the latest cutting-edge live-media routing equipment.

You will have the opportunity to work on product development from a systems design, product implementation, and automation design perspective.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is keen to build knowledge and driven to seek exposure to multiple facets of broadcasting.

The individual selected should be self-motivated and enjoy a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the recreation and resolution of customer issues.
• Test and validate hardware/software to ensure functionality for specific applications.
• Collaborate with developers, deployment, and service engineers to solve problems.
• Execute and improve existing test plans, automate and increase efficiency of test procedures.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including manuals and training materials.
• Assist with customer demo preparation and execution.
• Perform other tasks as needed by the Product Management Team.

Qualifications :

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering/Technology related to Electrical, Computer, or Networking is an asset.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, Python, and Linux OS.
• Experience in troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Passion for learning new technology software and hardware.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, be self-guided, and take initiative.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills.
