A leading health authority is seeking a Medical Office Assistant/Clerk to join their integrated administrative team. The role involves performing clerical duties, scheduling, and assisting healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient care operations. Candidates should have Grade 12 education, a Medical Office Assistant course, and relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

Reporting to the Manager or delegate, and working as part of an integrated administrative team, the Medical Office Assistant/Clerk performs various clerical and medical office duties, including:
They answer general inquiries related to programs and services from clients, physicians, staff, and the public, and assist primary care providers to ensure smooth operation and flow of patient visits and care.
Grade 12 education and graduation from a Medical Office Assistant course, plus two years of recent related experience in a healthcare setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience working with at-risk or street-involved populations is preferred.
